Land segment S525 is shown as being removed from housing. However the planning inspectors have overruled TDC and granted building approval for this piece. Please remove it from the list and reduce the outstanding demand accordingly.

I support the housing development at 3 of the proposed sites above I do have reservations on the Manston Airport site. My reservations on this are the infrastructure that will support this number of people with regard to job creation, hospital provision, secondary schools etc. I would also like to finally get a definitive answer as to whether the airport is definitely viable as I read constantly that there is another study or a CPO. This is very confusing and if eventually it is determined that

Sections 4 - Revised Location of Housing, 5 - New Policy - Land at Manston Court Road/Haine Road & 10 - New Policy - Land at Manston Road/Shottendane Road, Margate * Greenfield vs Brownfield sites: Thanet Greens support the development of housing at Stone Hill Park and Eurokent, but believe that more effort could be made to move allocations away from greenfield land and onto brownfield sites. For example, we would argue that the land at Minster roundabout that once had a petrol station should b

1. Land at Manston Rd/Shottendane Rd 2. Eurokent 3. Land at Manston Court Rd/Haine Rd The Town Council has no comment on the inclusion of the two new sites and the increase in numbers at the Eurokent site in the Local Plan. However, please see comments below on a requested revision to the policies. The Town Council has concerns that the densities proposed for the sites are too high and out of keeping with the surrounding area. There are also concerns that higher density properties will be smal

I object to development on land at Manston rd/shottendane rd, this constitutes urban sprawl. Thanet has been declared to be an area short of water, and as such we have all had to go onto water meters. Also the development of land at Manston court road/Haine road will lessen the ability to buy local produce from the 2 farm shops in Haine Road and Nash Road. Horse riders are being forced to ride elsewhere, and its now difficult to find land to graze horses on.

The additional housing allocation sites on and in the vicinity of Manston airport land should be subject to a Heritage Impact Assessment (see comment on Section 2) to ensure that potential impacts on heritage assets are fully understood and avoided or mitigated where possible. If there is an opportunity to enhance the historic environment or heritage assets as a result of development at these sites, e.g. through repair or conservation of assets, improved setting or access, or facilitating enjoym
