Hume Planning disagrees with the adherence to National Prescribed Space Standard (March 2015) the housing market is undergoing significant change with regard to affordability and access to the market for first time buyers. Maximum flexibility should be provided to housebuilders to allow for new housing products to be tested and a reduction in space standards can still provide a quality product. Paragraph 11.4 is therefore objected to with regard to space standards.
